Katelyn has loved horses for as long as she can remember. First, she started as a hunter/jumper at Naperville Polo Club in Plainfield, IL but later switched to 3-day eventing when the barn turned into Dark Horse Stables. Eventually she moved out to DeKalb and started riding at Starline Equestrian where she eventually became the head caretaker for 3 years. At the end of 2022 she decided to take a break from riding but still gets her “horse fix” from her neighbor’s horses from time to time. She’s been with Lewis Veterinary since 2025

 Allison has been around horses for as long as she can remember. So, she loves the opportunity to learn more about these incredible animals and to expand her knowledge about horses every day as a Veterinary Technician. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is getting to know the unique personalities of each horse she works with. In Allison’s free time she loves riding and spending time with her Horses and dogs

Sabrina got her bachelor's degree in animal science with an Equine Specialization at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale IL. From there she spent a year in Alabama working for an Eventing rider, Debi Crowley, who bred Vandiver. One of the horses who went to the Tokyo Olympics. From there she moved back home to Illinois to be a camp facilitator at the Danada Equestrian center. After that she become a “A” circuit show groom and spent the last 6 of the 8 years also as a barn manager. She has been with Lewis Veterinary since 2023

Mallory has been a part of our team since 2024. She has grown up with animals all her life, from horses to cows loves them all. She enjoys learning all aspects of veterinary medicine and actively helping everyone around. She hopes to continue to learn and get into vet school.
